Languages are my passion
I’m not only a language teacher, but also a lifelong student of German literature, history, and philosophy. If you’re curious about culture as much as language, you’ll feel right at home in my lessons.
Originally, I had studied Graphic Design (and have worked successfully as a freelancer), I soon found out, as I like to say, that 'I like words more than pictures'.
Now (and for 15+ years), I'm back to one of my original passions, namely languages!
Besides German and English, I'm quite well versed in French, Spanish and Italian, but I constantly dabble in other languages, not least those very different from my native tongue.
My experience ...
I have been working as a private tutor since age 23 (unbelievably, that's quite some time ago ...) and have worked as a proofreader, writer, ghostwriter, copy writer since at least 2006. I’ve been working with students from every continent (minus Antarctica, if you're inclined to count that, but including Atlantis) and very different backgrounds, nations, professions – students working in management, finance, engineering, design, education, military, medicine, IT, etc. – or nice people just simply interested in advancing their education in German!
